Tendonitis and Tendonosis

Tendonitis is inflammation of a tendon that can form from repetitive stress or overuse. Tendonosis is chronic inflammation of a tendon that can cause microtears within the tendon and degeneration of a tendon’s collagen structure. This can cause thickening or enlargement of the tendon.
